22.3.24: Good news as we did manage to make a start on summer crops between box packing this week with 1000 lettuce in, broad beans sown (a month late!!) and shallots for green onions in. The first of the spring migrant birds were arriving with a Swallow over, a Willow Warbler and Blackcap singing and plenty of Chiffchaffs around the place. Also Brimstone butterflies in the orchard with Orange-tips not too far away now. So despite a stressful and overwhelming start to the year it's looking like better (and drier hopefully) times are ahead! Yay!
20.3.24: The weather has been very bad and so wet that it has been impossible to get on the land to do any planting. We have decided to take a week off at Easter to catch up with getting the plants in the ground. We will be closed for the week commencing 1.4.24. Paypal payments will be suspended, if you pay by standing order please pause your payment for one week.
Boxes will resume week commencing 8.4.24.
