WAYSIDE ORGANICS BOX SCHEME TERMS & CONDITIONS.
Placement of an order implies acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
We will correspond with you primarily by email and by placing an order you consent to us doing so.
The weekly box lists are a guide to contents/amounts only and are not binding.
We reserve the right to alter contents/prices depending on market and harvest conditions and with no notice.
Payment may be made by PayPal, cheque, cash or BACS. Payment is regarded as being when we have received cleared funds. If you have arranged cash-on-delivery terms with us please ensure payment is made weekly. We reserve the right to use a third party to collect any monies owing for goods, and to add interest above the current BOE base rate to overdue accounts.
Please ensure that if we have to leave goods, that is in a safe, hygienic and tamper free location. If you require the box to be covered you must provide this.
Any credits or claims are at OUR DISCRETION and must be made within 24 HOURS OF DELIVERY or collection of goods. We do not entertain claims for the taste of produce as this is purely subjective.
We are not responsible for the storage of goods once they have left the farm. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that goods are stored correctly. Please note that some lines may require storage at specific temperatures. We can also not be held responsible for weather conditions after the box has been delivered, eg: thunderstorms, hailstorms etc. Subscriptions will be cancelled by us if, in our view, excessive and/or baseless claims are made.
We recommend that all produce is washed prior to consumption as per hygiene guidelines and that all customers, retail and wholesale, are mindful of the local EH legislation and requirements.
Allergy information: if you have any concerns over possible allergens please contact us to discuss your requirements.
Cancellations will always be acknowledged by ourselves. If no confirmation is received then we have not received the customer's correspondence either by email or telephone or other means. We are not liable for any costs involved if we have not confirmed the cancellation.
If you wish to pause an order please give us as much notice as possible, the minimum is two days. Later cancellations will be actioned at our discretion and convenience but a fee will always be charged to cover any costs (e.g.: if your box is packed and already out for delivery) will be charged. IF YOU LET US KNOW YOUR PAUSE AFTER YOUR PAYMENT HAS LEFT YOUR ACCOUNT WE WILL NOT REFUND BUT WILL CREDIT TOWARDS YOUR NEXT ORDER.
WE WILL RESPOND TO CONFIRM YOUR PAUSE AND WILL ADJUST THE PAYMENTS ACCORDINGLY WITHIN 72 HOURS.
Any price changes will be notified on the website and by social media and will be implemented automatically through PayPal if no correspondance is received from the customer.
All products are certified organic or in conversion to organic under the relevant EU legislation and/or agro-ecological/regenerative produce.
Please be polite in any correspondence to ourselves.
